Hopper grain trailers

Hopper grain trailer  are a type of tractor semi-trailer, with an auger discharge system.

A transfer hopper, or storage hopper as it is sometimes called, is used during harvesting. It "picks up" grain (seeds, etc.) directly from the working combine and delivers it to the trailer at the edge of the field. The combine harvester continues to work without stopping.

This all year round hopper can be used for sowing, fertilising or any other job around the combine.

With a special attachment, the hopper can be used to load seeders.
